is there a way to report guild's leroy'ing? griefing maybe?
quick rundown, it was about 11:30pm est, logged on to my mesmer in doa. I usually just do trenchway with guild, but I saw a guild trying to do a full run on normal mode, but they didn't have a panic. Now being a r8 lb that farms this in under 40min on hm, I didn't need the money obviously, but I was bored and they spammed forever, so I decided to be nice and help them out. They even advertised free cons so i was like cool.
guild is skoo for reference, don't know if others have problems with them but now its out there. we do city flawlessly, only 1 overaggro, but no big deal. 1 of their guild members starts spamming wtt gems for margonite, b/c he wanted his armbrace so myself and a few others trade him some and he gets it. we start veil and the guild decides they don't want to do it anymore b/c he got what he wanted. so even though they advertised full run, the monk and ranger/rt start running around, getting aggro from all the viel patrols by the quest-giver, and pull to group during the waves of enemies approaching. Now this isn't a qq-fest, i really don't care about the money, got some free gems and drops, but its the principal that erks me. they advertise full run and then leroy after 1 zone on purpose. they're even proud about it and laughing at the other monk, para, and other pugs who are raging at this point. if they wanted just 1 zone they should have advertised for that, but no since its late at night they lied and were deceitful and pretty much had it all planned. I'm guessing anet won't care about this since its hard to tell whats a mistake and whats a leroy, but i am curious is this the type of thing you could report for in the future? with them laughing and bragging about it in team chat that does show some evidence of leroy'ing/griefing at least. at the very least, use this thread as a warning, don't pug with people from Skoo. Not worth it. edit etc Last edited by lemming; Aug 24, 2011 at 05:46 AM // 05:46.. |

Really?
Also, this would have nothing to do with ANet, it's childish players being childish players. Welcome to the internet. You're bound to run into people like that online... nothing ANet can do about it. Also, imagine a group organizing a full run, then halfway through a bunch of people d/c and never come back.. would it be worth making a thread about it to complain? Don't think so.. Just saying.. |

I don't really think what happened is against any particular rules. While it may have been decietful to advertise the whole thing and then just go charging to wherever they want, it isn't a rulebreaker.
Also, you may want to remove character names from your screenshots. Last edited by Hyperventilate; Aug 24, 2011 at 04:34 AM // 04:34.. Reason: Spelling. |

The common response is, "If you don't like it, don't play with them." |

this is just more of a warning for others now about that guild and/or characters in it. |
